After sessions in Amsterdam, Darmstadt, Valencia and Goteborg, it was time for Belgrdade to host the SCITHOS challenge. Several different tourism stakeholders and a group of students came together in Hotel Moskva to discuss tourism development. The session started at 9.30 and ran until 13.00.
It was interesting to play in Belgrade, as tourism grows rapidly here and the city wants to be prepared to develop it in a sustainable way. We discussed the traffic situation as well as the hospitality and facility offerings and experimented with multiple solutions with an emphasis on ensuring a green and sustainable development. After all their hard work, all participants enjoyed a well deserved lunch at Ima Danar restaurant in the Bohemic quarter.
Players enjoyed the session and mentioned they hard learnded much about the complexity of tourism and the overall way in which different stakeholders can work together.
